Matt Meola video, Hookipa Maui North Shore

Really cool video from flying Matt Meola !

Matt Meola is one of the most under-rated surfers in the world. It is only a matter of time before Matt starts winning major contests.

Matt reminds me of a young fred Pattachia. WQS look out. Matt is my number one pick to win the NSSA natinals this year.

Watch this video and you will agree, Matt is the real deal.

By the way, Matt's board is 5'8.25" x 17.25" x 2.125" and is a custom Milkman model that I designed just for him.

Check the NSSA blog for updates, pictures and video's of Matt in action.

Matt Kazuma Kinoshita's quiver

Impressive presentation... Well, maybe I don't need all these boards to have fun. I make myself 2 to 4 boards a week and I am the ultimate test rider for the Kazuma boards. No new designs are released until the team riders thouroughly test the design, only when it is perfected will it be offered to my customers. If any of you have ever been to my Haiku shaping room, you know how serious I am about testing and perfecting my product. My comittment to you is to make the best, highest quality surfboards around.

Chaz Kinoshita , 11 years old, is the new HASA State champion in the menehune dibision. With 3 to4 foot waves Ala Moana Bowl Honolulu..
CHAZ Kinoshita won his first Hawaiian title. Matt says this title will be the most special title you can hold. Chaz is tuned and ready to travel with the Kazuma team to the NSSA national championships at Tresles ( San Clemente ) California.

6 years ago, Kai Barger won the same title then went on to win the NSSA National title. Matt says that Chaz is a splitting image of Kai Barger when he was that age.

Ola Eleogram

Ola Eleogram is one of my all-time favorite surfers. So creative, so explosive and so incredibly talented. Ola was with me since he was 10 years old up until a year ago. Since turning pro, Ola has moved on to new sponsors and we still have an awesome friendship. Now I sponsor and coach ola's phenom little brother Makana. Ola was one of the origional testers of the Milkamn model. Many of the features you see in my current surfboard models comes from Ola's input. Thank you ola.

Melanie Bartel, O'Neill Ads.

Melanie has been with me since the days that I shaped for H.I.C (hawaiian island creations) Melanie was my star female rider when I coached the Hawaii World Team. In the year 2000, I took Melanie to Portugal for the world championships. Mel took the bronze 3rd place title that year. At the same competition that year I had Joel Centeio who was the world champion. Melanie has always been part of the elite surfing crew and we have a signature line of boards that we developed just for her.

Melanie is one of the most published woman surfers in the world.

Kai Barger pics

Kai Barger is one of the most talented surfers that I have ever coached. My coaching/shaping relationship started 10 years ago and I have never seen a young kid with surf flawless technique. Kai has had a perfect career so far so I decided to train my son Chaz in the identical way. So far it is working. Kai is the surfer that we designed the Milkman Jr for. 10 years later, it is still the ultimate technique training board. Kai now has several signature Kazuma Models that will stand the test of time, just like his Milkman Jr.

Dusty Payne ads

Dusty Payne started his career with Kazuma. I started coaching and sponsoring Dusty when he was 10 years old and we had a wonderfull working relationship for 8 years. Dusty has now moved on to other sponsors but I continue to reproduce his personal Kazuma board design. Dusty's Milkman model helped shape his refined, futuristic and powerfull surfing style. I still ride a Dusty model in quick, tricky surf.

Aloha,
Matt Kinoshita

Matt surfing !

Matt is a really good surfer (!). He used to be US Champion.

Imai Devault pics

Imai Devault is my star student and is one of the most naturally talented 10 year olds in the world. Imai consistently makes finals in every competition and surfs with the power and style of kids many years older.

For the last 2 winters I have been training Imai in huge Hawaiian surf. I have to say there is not another 10 year old that charges like Imai.

I predict that Imai wins the NSSA Nationals next week.

Imai has been riding for me for 3 years and has his own Milkman Jr model. I see a successful future for this pint sized Hawaiian.

Monica Wickey pics

Monyca is a second generation Kazuma rider. 10 years ago, I sponsored and trained Monyca's older sister Christy. At the time, Christy was one of Hawaii's top armature surfers.
Now I have Monyca. She is one of a kind, funny as hell and is one of the best female surfers in America. Besides her awesome surfing skill, Monyca is also a successful model. Look for her in the new issue of Surfing magazine and check out the Kazuma NSSA blog for updates on her progress as the contest moves on.
